Founded in 1950, The Nevada County Horsemen, Inc. regularly feature and host Team Penning, 4AD America West Barrel Racing, Gymkhana, Horseshows and a two-day CCPRA sanctioned Rodeo every year in NCHI's own arena. Besides events and activities, NCHI seeks to promote horsemanship throughout the community and to provide a friendly and wholesome social environment for young and old alike.
